Both sire and dam were Best of Winners at the Basset Hound Club of America National Specialty. Pop Art in 2007 and Fresca in 2002. Arty went on to go Best of Breed at the 2009 BHCA National Specialty

Pepe has six Bests in Specialties by the age of two years and was the Number 9 in the Breed and 10 in All Breed stats, shown just at Specialty shows or special events in 2016.
