Not since the early 1960’s has a Basset Hound BITCH commanded such a ring presence as Ch. Topsfield-Vision Silver Noodles.

Ch. The Ring’s Banshee, Owned by the late Chris Teeter and shown by the late, great Frank Hardy, set the bar for bitch competition, and Noodles is fast reaching that goal with 11 All-Breed Bests In Show and 52 Group Firsts in 2007.

"Good To Go"  was bred by Ed and Mary Smizer (Maredge) and was owned by Gwen and Jack  McCullagh (Brendan) .  During the 2007 Season, he was owned by Claudia Orlandi (Topsfield)  

Good To Go has excellent shoulders and angulation, both front and rear, beautiful backline and side gait and a mild loyal temperament.

Best of Breed - 2007 - Westminster Kennel Club

Sluggo won the Stud Dog Class at the 2007 BHCA Nationals, where his son, Topsfield-Sanchu Pop Art O'Bridi finished his championship by going Best of Winners. 

At the end of 2007, Sluggo returned to his former owners, Gwen and Jack McCullagh and has now retired at his breeders' , Ed and Mary Smizer's home.  He's snoozing away left, bed and toys are not optional.

Buggy was bred by Claudia Orlandi (Topsfield) and Judy Tuck (Cloverhill).  He is owned by Claire K. Steidel (Sanchu) and Sukey Shor.  Buggy is handled exclusively by Mike Stone.   His first year as a Special has been quite a nice one. 

Buggy has beautiful breed type, exceptional bone and feet, and very correct, deliberate movement.  Topsfield is proud to have Buggy in the ring.

Buggy is the son of  CH Topsfield Bumper Cars, CD, ROM, the top group winning Basset in breed history, and CH Topsfield Andromeda of Vision.

Perhaps for us, one of the most rewarding highlights of the year was Sluggo's son Topsfield-Sanchu Pop Art O'Bridi going Winners Dog & Best of Winners at the 2007 BHCA National Specialty, finishing his championship. 

(Arty went on to win the breed in 2009 at the Nationals)
