Sporty went on to be a Multiple Best in Show and Multiple Best in Specialty Winning Hound. He was the Pedigree Award Winner for 2003 and 2004 and the Number One Basset Hound, All Systems for 2003 and 2004. He was also the top producing Basset Hound Sire for 2002 (2 way tie).
Sports Car was exclusively handled by Bryan Martin.

Sporty retired from his show career following his breed win at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational in 2005. He won the breed at Westminster both in 2003 and 2004.

Sporty is the son of CH Sanchu’s Ginger, ROM, Best of Winners at the 2000 Basset Hound Club of America National Specialty and CH Topsfield Bumper Cars, CD, ROM, the Number One Basset Hound in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Sports Car, Go-Cars and their sister, Kiddie Cars, were a litter of three. These offspring of CH Topsfield Bumper Cars, CD, ROM, and CH Sanchu’s Ginger, ROM were exceptional.

They are affectionately known as
“The Polar Bears”

Go-Cars was one of two littermates to go Winners Dog at the 2000 Basset Hound Club of America National Specialty. He was an Award of Merit Winner in 2002. His brother, CH Topsfield-Sanchu Sports Car, ROM, was Winners Dog and Award of Merit at the 2002 BHCA Nationals.
